Woolloomooloo
Akti on the Finger Wharf
Akti is a Greek restaurant on the Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo, on the eastern edge of the city.
Head Chef Robert Judd runs the kitchen, working from Greek classics with the grill at the centre of it. The pita is made on the premises, and dessert is kept on a menu of its own.
Baraki, the bar beside the restaurant, pours Greek wine and cocktails, before a table is ready or after the plates have been taken away.
The room is a large one: 220 seated, 300 standing, with a private dining room for twenty-eight under high ceilings and ceramic work.

On public transport, allow about fifteen minutes on foot from Kings Cross station; buses stop on the roadway itself. Water taxis can also drop guests at the wharf.
Access
Entry is level from the wharf into the restaurant, so the room is accessible by wheelchair. Accessible parking spaces are marked nearby.
